“Energy Independence for Medicine: Solar Stations for Kyiv Maternity Hospital #3”
BTS – Construction Technologies Systems reports on the completion of the installation of solar power plants in Maternity Hospital No. 3 in Kyiv. Kyiv as part of the GIZ Ukraineproject “Strengthening the Resilience of Kyiv Hospitals” funded by the German government, .
As part of the project, two stations were installed: a 50 kW grid-tied station for the company’s own needs, and a 50 kW hybrid station with uninterruptible power supplies for the neonatal intensive care unit and the operating room.
The solar stations will improve the energy security of the facility in the face of power outages and help save the company’s budget funds for electricity consumption.
